Always annoying when something breaks, luckily you can easily find out what is wrong with the steps below. It is unlikely that the parent unit itself is faulty, it is more likely that there is something wrong with one of the components.

You can conclude this yourself by following the steps below:

Connect the adapter to the parent unit, and turn on the parent unit.

  • If you don't see the charging icon filling up on your screen, your adapter is faulty.
  • When you move the adapter connector up and down and see the charging icon light up and then go out again, it is likely that the adapter connector of the adapter is faulty. You can plug in the camera's adapter to rule this out.
  • If the same problem occurs with the camera adapter, the adapter connection inside the parent unit is probably faulty. For this, the DVM-275 should be submitted for repair. This can be done on the following website.
  • If you do see the charging icon fill up, the adapter is fine but unfortunately there will be something wrong with the battery. For this, the baby monitor should also be sent for repair as the battery is soldered internally. This can be done on the following website.
