Always annoying when something breaks, luckily you can easily find out what is wrong with the steps below. It is unlikely that the parent unit itself is faulty, it is more likely that there is something wrong with one of the components.

You can conclude this yourself by following the steps below:

First, make sure the adapter is not plugged in.

Next, open the cover on the back of the parent unit.

Check whether the contact points that the battery makes contact with the parent unit are touching.

If this is not the case or you are in doubt, remove the battery so that you can bend the contact points a little with a small flat screwdriver so that they make better contact with the battery when you insert it.

Make sure the battery is inserted, close the battery cover and connect the adapter.

You may now turn on the parent unit.

  • If you don't see the charging icon filling up on your screen, your adapter is faulty. The adapter can be ordered on our website.
  • If you move the adapter connector up and down and see the charging icon light up and go out again, it is likely that the adapter connector inside the parent unit or the charging cable connection plug is faulty. The cable can be ordered on our website. If it is the adapter connector inside the parent unit, the parent unit should be sent for repair.

When purchased through us, it may be submitted for repair at the following website.
Did you buy your product online or in a shop (but not directly through us)?

Then it is best to contact the shop or online shop where you bought your product. You can also do this if your product is already out of warranty or damaged through your own fault. The shop in question will work with you to find a suitable solution and, if possible, initiate a repair or supply a replacement device.

  • If you do see the charging icon fill up, the adapter is fine but there will unfortunately be something wrong with the battery. This can be ordered on our website.
